Muzafar Pulao Sheerin

Sweet rice pulao is a favourite dish of Rampuris. Muzaffar has the important element of saffron, hence the name. Rice is boiled and then cooked with sugar syrup. A celebratory dish, it is often served at weddings. Rampur has several versions of sweet pulaos and the chefs pride themselves in cooking the rice with three or four times the sugar.
